Wellesley Housing Authority – Annual Floor Covering Services

The WELLESLEY HOUSING AUTHORITY invites sealed bids from qualified contractors for Annual Floor Covering Services at Authority-owned properties in Wellesley, Massachusetts.

The work includes but is not limited to on-call and as-needed carpet installation and replacement, luxury vinyl tile (LVT), vinyl composition tile (VCT), sheet vinyl installation, cove base installation, flooring demolition and disposal, subfloor preparation, and related flooring services at public housing developments.

The contract term shall be from August 1, 2026 through July 31, 2027, with two optional one-year renewals at the sole discretion of the Wellesley Housing Authority.

A non-mandatory pre-bid walkthrough/site visit will be held on Monday, June 22, 2026 at 1:00 PM at 109 Barton Road, Wellesley, MA 02481.

Bid documents will be available beginning Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 10:00 AM and may be obtained from the Wellesley Housing Authority, 109 Barton Road, Wellesley, MA 02481, by email request to James@WellesleyHousing.org, or on the Authority website.

Sealed bids must be received no later than Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at 10:00 AM.

Bids are subject to applicable Massachusetts public bidding laws, including M.G.L. c.149, and prevailing wage laws as required by M.G.L. c.149 §§26-27H inclusive.

The Wellesley Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive any informalities if deemed in the best interest of the Authority.
